My love-hate relationship is growing disproportionally more hateful. It's almost time to cut the ties and delete them. It's disgusting that I have 3 blogger blogs. Granted one of them only has one post and it says testing. I think if I keep any it would be this one because it encourages me to post about stuff I've created and creating stuff makes me happy.

Like this doodle back in September.

It was inspired by a conversation I had with Julia and Bianca. I brought umbrellas to lunch duty outside and they had referred to Kyle as my umbrella buddy. The monsters are there because they wanted to stop by.

Recently I went to see my friends perform at Porter's Pub at UCSD. I thought the name of another band playing was called The Arizona Balloon Busters, but it was just the name of one of their songs. So disappointing.

No explanation necessary. It's an orange with drum sticks.

Lastly, I made a critter out of an old t-shirt and glass beads. I'm too lazy right now to take a picture of it, but it's pretty cute. I plan on making more stuffed animal critters, but I can't seem to brainstorm cool looking critter shapes. This will not calm my drive to make adorable squishy critters!! More to come...

I tend to doodle animals and personified animals. Not sure why. I think it's easier to draw animals than it is people. People are sometimes complex to draw.

Anyway, I was missing Llama and thinking about all the interesting squirrels when I was on my roadtrip.

Paparazzi-stalked another wedding this weekend. I really liked their color/flower scheme. It was so summer and I couldn't think of a better place than the Darlington House in La Jolla to have it.

In other news, I voraciously consumed Craig Thompson's [added to Creative People] Blankets, an almost 600 page graphic novel within two sittings. It's a huge feat for someone who doesn't touch a book longer than 30 mins. I'm pretty proud of myself.

I really like his style. It's like refined doodling.

I've been in a strange baking mood lately and for an even stranger reason I feel the need to express it in a style that'll make me groan from nostalgia through my grinning teeth.

Bravo to the Chocolate Chip & Toffee cookies.

Those two sticks of butter really made a difference.

Boo to the failure that is cornbread muffins.

Never again Jiffy!! Dehydrated lard is never a good choice.

Bravo to strawberry cupcakes with faces.

Both moist and mildly cannibalistic!

Boo to the bland and burnt tortilla chips.

I don't care if making them yourself is cheaper. So much work for so little pay off. 100% lame.

Bravo to Ghirardelli's Ultimate Fudge Brownie Mix.

Best brownie box mix I've made/had.

Ever.

Period.

Adjustable necklace made with waxed line.

Double string seed bead bracelet with shell button clasp.

Soda pop buttons made with hot glue and puffy paint before my $2 glue gun literally exploded.

Another day, another wedding.

Well, not exactly.

I wasn't scheduled to work today, but I knew there was an event today so I asked my boss if I could paparazzi-stalk the event so that I can practice my photography. It went a lot better than last time. I still don't know how to totally use my camera or the flashes that I've bought for it. I know it's going to get better with practice, but it's so awkward right now. bleh!
